Foggers vs Geek Bars: Foger and Geek Bar Devices Compared on the Spec Sheet

Two Foger devices against three Geek Bar devices, using each maker's listed specs and nothing else.

Short answer

Foggers and Geek Bars are made by different companies, and both use 5% (50 mg/mL) salt nicotine. The Bit 35K holds 21 mL, more e-liquid than the Geek Bar Pulse X (18 mL), Mate 60K pod (15 mL) or Pulse (16 mL). The Switch Pro and Geek Bar Mate are both battery-plus-pod systems. Neither brand wins overall; the answer turns on pod swaps vs a one-piece device.

The Foger columns come from our own spec sheet for fogger battery and pod kits and the Bit 35K. The Geek Bar columns come only from the spec tables in Geek Bar product listings in the catalog we work from. Where a cell is short, it is because that maker's table lists less detail. For example, the Geek Bar tables don't give a coil resistance in ohms, and our sheets for the Switch Pro and Bit 35K don't give a wattage.

We picked three Geek Bar devices that line up with how people actually compare them with foggers. The Mate 60K is Geek Bar's battery-plus-pod system, so it is the closest match to the Switch Pro. The Pulse X 25K and the original Pulse 15K are one-piece disposables, closer to the Bit 35K. Prices for Geek Bar devices are left out on purpose; this page compares hardware, not shelves.

All puff counts in the table are each manufacturer's own lab rating. Real totals depend on how long you draw and which mode you use, and the two brands don't publish a shared test method. Read the puff rows as a rough guide and the e-liquid row as the firmer number.

Do Foggers Last Longer Than Geek Bars? Rated Puffs vs mL

It depends on which number you trust. On rated puffs, the Geek Bar Mate 60K kit claims the highest figure here, 60,000 on Regular. On e-liquid, the Bit 35K holds the most, 21 mL. Those two numbers point in different directions, which is why it helps to divide one by the other:

DeviceRated puffs (standard mode)E-liquidRated puffs per mL
Foger Switch Pro 30K pod30,00015 mLAbout 2,000
Foger Bit 35K35,00021 mLAbout 1,670
Geek Bar Mate 60K pod60,00015 mLAbout 4,000
Geek Bar Pulse X 25K25,00018 mLAbout 1,390
Geek Bar Pulse 15K15,00016 mLAbout 940

A pod or device can only produce vapor from the liquid inside it. The Mate 60K pod and the Switch Pro pod hold the same 15 mL, yet the Mate's rating is twice the Switch Pro's. That gap tells you more about how each maker counts a "puff" than about how long either pod will last in your hand. Puffs-per-mL figures this far apart usually mean different test draws, not different physics.

So, do foggers last longer than Geek Bars? By e-liquid, the Bit 35K carries more than any of the three Geek Bar devices here, and the Switch Pro pod matches the Mate pod. By rated puffs, the Mate 60K claims more. If you vape the same way on both, mL is the fairer guide. For how fast a fogger runs down at different daily use, see how long do foggers last.

What about the pod systems over time?

With either pod system, the battery stays and the pod is the part you replace. That makes the per-pod numbers the ones that repeat. A Switch Pro pod is 15 mL at 30,000 rated Normal puffs. You can buy foggers refills on their own once you own the power bank, which is how most kit owners keep going.

Are Foggers Stronger Than Geek Bars? Foger Boost vs Geek Bar Pulse

Both brands have a second, higher-output mode. Foger calls it Boost. Geek Bar calls it Pulse. In both cases the trade is the same: the device heats harder and the rated puff count drops. The size of that drop is listed by each maker, so it can be compared:

DeviceStandard modeHigh-output modeHigh-output puffs as a share of standard
Foger Switch Pro 30K30,000 Normal18,000 Boost60%
Foger Bit 35K35,000 Normal25,000 BoostAbout 71%
Geek Bar Mate 60K60,000 Regular30,000 Pulse50%
Geek Bar Pulse X 25K25,000 Regular15,000 Pulse60%
Geek Bar Pulse 15K15,000 Regular7,500 Pulse50%

A bigger drop suggests the high-output mode uses liquid faster relative to standard mode, but it does not prove one device "hits harder" than another. Only the Pulse X lists a wattage (25W on Pulse), and our sheets list coil resistance instead (1.0Ω on the Switch Pro pod, 0.8Ω on the Bit 35K). Those are different measurements, so we can't put the brands on one strength scale.

Nicotine strength is the same on every device in the matrix: 5%, or 50 mg/mL. So "are foggers stronger than Geek Bars" has a short answer on nicotine (no, they are equal) and an honest "can't tell from the specs" on throat hit and vapor. On the Switch Pro you switch modes with the device button. On the Bit 35K, a Bitcoin icon on the screen shows you are on Boost. More on reading the screen is in our guide to foggers on Boost.

Foger vs Geek Bar Battery and Charging, Device by Device

The two pod systems are close on paper. The Switch Pro pairs an 850 mAh magnetic power bank with a 200 mAh battery inside each pod, 1,050 mAh combined. The Geek Bar Mate 60K lists a 900 mAh battery and a 200 mAh pod, 1,100 mAh combined. Both charge over USB-C, and on the Switch Pro the bank also recharges the pod while it is docked.

Among the one-piece devices, the Bit 35K has the largest listed battery at 850 mAh, against 820 mAh for the Pulse X 25K and 650 mAh for the Pulse 15K. Each charges through a USB Type-C port. A larger battery generally means fewer charges per device, but how often you plug in also depends on mode, draw length and the screen.

Why the battery matters more on a pod system

On a one-piece device, the battery is thrown away with the device when the liquid runs out. On a pod system, the main battery stays with you and carries over to the next pod. The Switch Pro base is also sold on its own as a fogger battery, with a 1200 mAh cell. A Switch Pro pod also works on its own because of its built-in 200 mAh cell, but it lasts far less per charge without the bank. The pod fits only the Switch Pro power bank, not the Bit 35K and not Geek Bar hardware. If you want the power bank, it costs $6.00 more than a pod alone. The full breakdown is on our cost per puff page.

We don't publish charge times for either brand. Charge speed varies with the charger, the cable and how empty the battery is, and we won't quote minutes we haven't measured.

Foggers vs Geek Bars Nicotine: 5% Salt Nic on Both

Every device in this comparison lists 5% nicotine. Our spec sheets give it as 5% (50 mg/mL) salt nicotine for both the Switch Pro pod and the Bit 35K. The Geek Bar Pulse X 25K and Pulse 15K tables list 50 mg/mL (5%) salt nicotine. The Mate 60K table lists "5% (50mg)" without naming the nicotine type.

Because the strength is the same per mL, the total nicotine in a device scales with its e-liquid. A 21 mL Bit 35K holds more nicotine in total than an 18 mL Pulse X, simply because it holds more liquid. Per puff, the difference comes from how much liquid each puff uses, which the specs don't tell you.

The Foger devices in this comparison are 5% salt nic, with no 2% or 3% options and no THC or CBD. We also sell zero nicotine foggers pods for the Switch Pro, which fit the same power bank. For the label details, see foggers nic.

Foger vs Geek Bar Flavors: How Each Range Is Offered

We only count flavors for the products we sell, so this section is about how our range works rather than a flavor-count contest. Right now our store lists 65 flavors for the Switch Pro kit, 92 for the replacement pod, 5 for the 0% pod and 30 for the Bit 35K, 118 distinct names in all. Of those, 69 pod flavors are in stock today.

The format changes how flavor choice works. With a pod system like the Switch Pro or the Geek Bar Mate, you keep one battery and swap pods, so trying a new flavor means buying one pod. With a one-piece device like the Bit 35K or the Pulse X, a new flavor means a new device. If you rotate flavors often, a pod system tends to suit you better, whichever brand you pick.

Geek Bar sells its devices in several flavor editions, and its ranges differ by model. We don't list Geek Bar flavor counts here because they aren't ours to keep current. For every name we carry, sorted by taste and ice level, see every foggers vape flavor.

Are Foggers Better Than Geek Bars? A Decision Table by Use Case

Neither brand is better across the board. Each wins on a different line of the spec sheet. This table matches common needs to the device that fits them, using only the listed specs:

So, are foggers better than Geek Bars? If tank size and a one-piece format matter most, the Bit 35K comes out ahead on paper. If you want pods you can swap on one battery, the Switch Pro and the Mate are close, and the choice comes down to flavor and feel. If you want the biggest number on the box, the Mate claims it.

For a Foger-only version of this decision, our guide on which foggers to buy splits the Switch Pro kit, the pods and a one-piece fogger by use case.

Geek Bar Foggers: Are Foger and Geek Bar the Same Company?

No. "Geek bar foggers" is a common search, but Foger and Geek Bar are different brands from different companies, with separate product lines. We haven't seen a public record that links them, and we won't suggest a corporate tie we can't show. The mix-up is easy to understand: both make high-puff disposables, both have a battery-plus-pod system, and both use a second high-output mode.

The quickest way to tell them apart is the mode name and the hardware. Foger devices use Normal and Boost, and the Bit 35K shows a Bitcoin icon on Boost. Geek Bar devices use Regular and Pulse. Pods don't cross over either. A Switch Pro pod fits only the Switch Pro power bank, so it won't work on a Geek Bar Mate battery, and a Geek Bar pod won't seat on the Switch Pro bank.

If you are weighing other brands too, our page on devices similar to foggers lines up Raz, Lost Mary, Off Stamp and Geek Bar against the Switch Pro. Foggers vs Geek Bars FAQ

Are foggers better than Geek Bars?

Neither is better overall. The Foger Bit 35K holds the most e-liquid in our comparison at 21 mL, while the Geek Bar Mate 60K claims the highest rated puffs. The Foger Switch Pro and Geek Bar Mate are both battery-plus-pod systems with similar combined battery. All five devices we compared list 5% nicotine.

Are foggers stronger than Geek Bars?

On nicotine, no. Every device we compared from both brands lists 5% (50 mg/mL). Both brands have a high-output mode, Boost on Foger and Pulse on Geek Bar, but they publish different measurements (coil ohms vs wattage), so the specs can't rank which one hits harder.

Do foggers last longer than Geek Bars?

By e-liquid, the Bit 35K holds 21 mL against 18 mL for the Geek Bar Pulse X and 16 mL for the Pulse 15K, and the Switch Pro pod matches the Mate pod at 15 mL. By rated puffs, the Geek Bar Mate 60K claims more. Puff ratings use each maker's own test, so mL is the fairer guide.

Are Geek Bar and Foger the same company?

No. Foger and Geek Bar are different brands from different companies with separate product lines. We have not seen any public record linking them. Their pods don't cross over: a Switch Pro pod fits only the Switch Pro power bank.

Can I use a Foger pod on a Geek Bar battery?

No. The Foger Switch Pro pod fits only its own power bank. It doesn't fit the Bit 35K, the Geek Bar Mate or any other brand's battery. Each brand's pods are built for its own hardware, so buy pods that match the battery you already own.
