What Is a Foggers Battery? The Switch Pro Base on Its Own

When people search for a foggers battery, a foger battery or a foggers vape battery, they usually mean the base of the Foger Switch Pro. The Switch Pro is a two-piece fogger: a pod with the e-liquid, and a battery base the pod clips onto. This page sells that base by itself.

The base is the piece you keep. Pods run out and get replaced; the battery stays and gets recharged. That is why a spare is useful. If yours is lost, damaged or just in the wrong place, a second base keeps your pods working without buying a whole new kit.

Is this the same as a foggers charger?

Some people call the base a foggers charger or a foggers charging base, because it charges the pod while the pod is docked. That is part of its job. It is also the battery the device runs on, with the screen and the mode setting. You charge the base itself over USB-C.

The replacement battery has a larger cell than the base that ships in the kit: 1200 mAh against 850 mAh. Both charge over USB-C, both have an OLED screen, and both take the same Switch Pro pods.

A bigger cell holds more charge, so you should be able to go longer between charges on the same use. Which Pods Fit the Fogger Battery?

A chip in the base checks each pod you attach. Only Foger Switch Pro pods pass that check and connect. A pod from another brand will not fire on this base, even if it looks like it should fit.

The battery does not work with the Bit 35K. The Bit has no pod slot and no detachable base. It has its own 850 mAh battery inside and charges through its own USB-C port.

Yes, the Switch Pro kit comes with a battery: the 850 mAh base plus one 5% pod. The pods sold on their own do not include a base. So the real question is whether you need a battery at all, and if you do, whether to buy this one or a whole kit.

Foggers Charging Base: How to Charge the Switch Pro Battery

The battery charges through a USB Type-C port. Use a standard USB-C cable and a standard USB wall adapter or computer port. The OLED screen shows the charge level, so you can see when it is full.

A few plain points on charging:

• Charge the base, not the pod. The pod charges from the base while it is docked. You plug the cable into the base.
• Check the screen. The charge level on the OLED is the quickest way to know if the base needs power.
• No charge time given. Foger does not publish one for this base, and it depends on your cable and adapter, so we don't quote minutes.
• Same port as the Bit 35K. If you also own a Bit 35K, the same type of USB-C cable charges both.

Swapping to a replacement base is simple. Take the pod off the old base, snap it onto the new one and draw. The pod carries its own e-liquid and coil, so nothing moves over except the pod itself.

Charge the new base before first use so you start with a full screen. Then pick Boost or Norm with the mode setting. The pod you attach is checked by the chip in the base; a genuine Foger Switch Pro pod connects, and a pod that fails the check will not fire.
